The KIDS Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation caring for PID (Primary Immune Deficiency Disorder) children, teenagers and their families, as well as PID bone marrow and liver transplant children.

The Foundation offers members practical, emotional, medical and social support. Membership is free as we recognise that the price to be eligible to join as patient members is high enough.

The “Circus Quirkus” is an important project used by The KIDS Foundation to help achieve these goals.

"Circus Quirkus" is a non animal Circus spectacular guaranteed to amuse and delight both young and old.

The Beneficiaries for this year:
The beneficiaries of the proceeds raised by the club from hosting this event will include:
Local Medically fragile and special needs children in the Hawkes Bay region, as well as ongoing support for Children who suffer with P.I.D and Liver/Bowel transplant children support by KIDS Foundation.

• Patient Support services
• Specialised Medical Equipment - to improve quality of life.
• Assistance for Families (eg. travel & Accommodation where Bone Marrow & Liver Transplants are needed)
• Free St. John's Ambulance Membership as well as vochers for Hospital parking and Pharmacy.
• Special events for PID families
• Family linking for rare PID conditions
  NZ Research into P.I.D - The Foudation supports a NZ genetic testing program for PID which is making world calss advancements in PID diagnosis
